JASCHA HEIFETZ.
Tlie preferential plans for tho two recitals by .Tascha Heifetz, the famous violinist, to be. given at the Town Hall on 11th nnd 13th August, opened at tho Bristol to-day. Patrons are requested to forward applications with cheques, postal notes, or money orders to tho booking manager, tho Bristol Lambton quay, with stamped and addressed envelope for the return of tho tickets. Scats will bo allotted according to priority of application. Heifolz is still .1 young man, but he bns already made a fortune with his violin. He has world-wido engagements nearly ten years ahead, and so great is the demand for his services that ho must leave New Zealand early in September, so that his Dominion tour cannot bo extended. On tho occasion of his previous visit to New Zealand, Heifetz was unable to visit tho South Island, but on this tour he will vfsit the four principal centres. Already there have been many applications for seats for the opening
