In "The Fourth Commandment," now showIng at the De Luxo Theatre, Miss Belle Bennett Plays the leading role. The picture deals with the relationship of children towards their parents. A wife leaves her homo when her husband refuses to turn his mother out, and she. In turn, suffers a similar happening when her own son marries a Jealous wife. As Virginia, the wife and mother who takes the central part of the story, Miss Bennett fives a very flue rendering of a dlfflcult TJi , .„, scUI"K of tho picture is really splendid, 'lhere Is an excellent gazette showing tho trans-Atlantic flights. The picture side of the programme is well supported by tho tnuoic which is. played under the direction of Jlr. hmanuel Aarons. Tho conductor gives several Items on the Wurlitzer organ, including Schu- <?. famous "Serenade." The' orchestral sections included Thomas's well-known march,
Commencing next Friday at 8 o'clock, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30, tho De Luxe Theatre will screen the comedy of the year, ■■I HatSi" A clo™r director-author and a brilliant cast have caught the humour of tho post-war period and havo satirised them with keenness and human understanding. Tinged with romance, spiced with adventure, "Tin Hats is a merry melange of real entertainment. One canihot help laughing at the three soldiers, who lost their army,, lost themselves, and pretended they were the army of occupation. The cast is an outstanding ono and includes Conrad Nagel, Clairo Windsor, and Bert Roach. The programme will include Mr. Emanuol Aarons in fresh numbers on the Wurllt,zer, and delightful orchestral music by the Orchestra Dc Luxe.
