(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, This Day. Uio floods consequent on Tuesday morning's heavy rain are causing a further dislocation of the railway traffic between Auckland and Whangarei The express from Auckland yesterdar morning got through, but there - has been a hold-up since owing to the line being submerged to a depth of several feot in tho vicinity of Hoteo, Wavbv and Wollsford. Tho noon express and the afternoon trains from here yesterday had to stop at Maungaturoto. Last night's express from Auckland could not proceed beyond Wellsford. It is stated that tho waters are now subsiding rapidly and that an attempt is to be made at 10 a.m. to get through from each end of the section affected The noon express .from here was dispatched to-day. There is no interrun* taon north of Whangarei.
