■ • . ' LONDON, 25th July. Ihe aviator Black has landed at Ci-oy-don from an 18,600-mile flight from India, a record distance, with a passenger. He also made record time fromEurope to India of nine days, against Sir Samuel Hoaro's previous record of eleven.
This is regarded as a striking illustration of the commercial value of longdistance air transport. Black flew thirteen days out of tho sixteen which the journey occupied..
