SENTENCED FOE ESPIONAGE

The Court of Correction has sentenced the nine> Communists charged with espionage Six were fined 1000 to 5000 francs, and sentenced to from sixteen months to five years' imprisonment. Councillor Cremet and hie secretary, who -had long evaded arrest, wore fined 100,000 francs, doprived of civic rights for five years, and sentenced to fivo years' solitary confinement.
