By their batting performances in the match with Warwickshire, now in proi gress, C. C. Dacre and M. L. Page gain tho distinction of scoring 1000 runß on the present tour. Five members of the Now Zealand cricket team have now made the achievement, the others with four-figure aggregates being C. S. Dempster, R. C. Blunt, and T. C. Lowry. Tho record in this connection is a notable ono, and compares very favourably with that of the Australians on their tour last year, when seven members of tho team succeeded in passing the onethousand mark.
