SAMOA BILL AGAIN
To-day's sitting of the House of Representatives is likely to bo a long one, for tho Samoa Amendment Bill is to be put through its iinal stjges. The Opposition may take full advantage of the Committee stage to move amendments ou the deportation issue. Mr. G. W. Forbes (Huruuui) is proposing an amendment providing hat the Chief Judge of the High Court, or such other person or persons as may be appointed by the Governor-General in Council, shall be associated with the Administrator in the excrciso of his powers of deportation. Mr. Forbes is also moving to allow persons summoned before the Administrator to appear Trith counsel.
