(Received 26th July, 12.30 p.m.) SYBNEY, This Day. ,; Mrs. Gladys Sanaford and Misf Stella Christie, two New Zealand ladies^ reached Sydney after a strenuous motor journey. Alone they crossed Australia four times, covering a distance of 11,000 miles. Starting on 4th March, they drova from Sydney to Perth, back to Adei laide, thence to Darwin and back, and returned to Sydney. They had an adventurous time in th» wilds, and in the little-known country of the Northern Territory, but they overcame all difficulties, completing their journey without mishap.
