The Department of Health has received the following notifications of infectious diseases in the hospital districts of the Wellington Health District for the week ended yesterday (the figures for the previous week being given in parentheses):— Wanganui-Horowhenua: Scarlet fever, S (10); diphtheria, 0 (3);. tuberculosis, 3 (3); pneumonia, 4 (2); opthahhic neanatorum, I (0); erysipelas. 1 (0); puerperal fever, 0 (1): pneumonic influenza, 0 (3). Waira-r.ipa-East Cape: Scarlet fever 7 (4): diphtheria, 7 (1); enteric fever. 0 (1); tuberculosis. 4 (2); pneumonia. 1 ({)); poliomyelitis, 1 (0). Central "Wellington: Scarlet fever, 10 05); diphtheria, i (4); tuberculosis. 4 (1); pneumonia, 2 (!)); erysipelas 4 (01; puerperal lever. 0 (1). KolsonMarlborough: Scarlet fever, 0 (1); tuberculosis, 0 (1).
