For the girl who is forced to "room" on her own, I recently saw a delightful disguise for tho bed, (says a London writer). It was quite an ordinary stretcher and over it hung a bedspread of crushed strawberry silken material, finished all round with a frill. At the head was what appeared to be a bolster enshion, tasscllod at each end in dull gold. Actually it was a. roll of stiff cardboard covered with the silk. Tho idea which appealed to me was that there was an oval cut mado underneath it and in this cavity were hidden the pillows and nightdress—just popped in mid quite out of sight for tho day. I mean to copy this idea' myself, because it is so neat. Debutante's Posies.—Orders now being booked for tho forthcoming balls and othor social functions.
