COUNTY SIDE COLLAPSES
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, 23rd July. In the Xew Zealand team against Warwickshire, at Birmingham to-day, M'Girr and Dacre displaced Mills and Oliver. Rain delayed the start till 12.45 p.m.
The county side- went in first, E. J. Smith and !N T. Kilner opening. The former batsman hit 38 out of 44 runs obtained before lunch. K'Girr's dismissal of Kilner was brilliant, the fieldsman diving and holding the ball as he fell at mid-off. M'Girr's excellent bowling after tea, when the score was tour wickets for 183, caused the collapse of the rest of the county team, the last six of whose wickets only realised 53 runs. M'Girr sent down seven, maidens out of eighteen overs bowled. The New* Zcalanders opened their innings brightly, scoring 45 runs in torty minutes.
