WORKING MEN'S CLUB V. NGAIO
The fifteenth match between these clubs was played at Ngaio on Saturday evening, and proved very enjoyable! TJie match opened with a very happy welcome by Mr. F., J-. Brooker, the local, president, and concluded with a short speech in which Mr. F. K. Kelliug thanked the home team for its generous hospitality, felicitated the suburban club on the splendid advance that it has made in recent seasons, and voiced the general wish of city players that their Ngaio brethren will steadily riso to greater height*. In order to score half a point in tho league's senior teams tourney, for which the first six boards count, the Ngaio Club will require to wm both the outstanding games. Of the fifteen matches played to date, the Workinp; Men's Club has won 8, the ?«gaio Club haa'won 6, and one ended in n tic, each side scoring 7's eames in the fixture played on 23rd July, 1910. In the next round of the Wellington Ghesß League s contests the pairings are:— WellinKton C.C. v. Working Men's Club, and Wellington South C.C. v. Ngaio CC
