WELLINGTON CLUB.
The Wellington Harriers Club hold the seventh annual contest for the W. H. Press Cup on Saturday. Four teams competed. The race wag run over the five-mile course at Lyall Bay, and J. Shephard put up an excellent performance iv runninß the dintance in 3!raui 43sec; A. W. Burns, who finished second, was lOsec behind S. Sh.ephard; 5. ilovvis was third.- The winning team consisted of A. W. Burns second, S. Morris third, N. White fifth, W. Wave sixteeoth—26 points, W. Wbelau's team was second with 34 pointd, and J, Shep.bard's and M. Mulcaby'g teams dead-heat-ed for^ third pkco with 38 points.
