A MOTORIST'S TRICK

A young man who had been lunching at the Savoy, London, emerged from the hotel recently to observe two policemen mounting guard over his two-seater car in a menacing fashion, says the London 'Weekly Dispatch." He stole past them without speaking, went straight to a telephone box, and informed Scotland Yard that his car'had been stolen. Shortly afterwards he Teceived a police message from, the police informing him that the car had been found at the Savoy Hotel and would be delivered to him at once. He escaped his summons, but it is not a trick to play twice.
