A fire in a cotton-ginnery at liockhnmpton destroyed a storage sliccl containing throe million pounds of seed, valued at £.15,000, and two hundred bales of lint, worth £5000. Tho seed destroyed represented tho bulk of the supply for next year's crop of cotton in Queensland.
