"^OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the -^ Pctone and Lower Hutt Gas-Light-ing Board intends to introduce in the present session of Parliament a Local Bill to be intituled "The Pctone and Lower Hutt Gas-Lighting Amendment Bill." The objects which the Bill is intended to effect are:— ' , 1: To enable the Board and the Wellington Gas Company (Limited) to enter into a contract for the supply of gas by the Company to the Board. 2. To extend the borrowing powers of the Board so as to enable it to borrow for-reticulation purposes subject to the approval of the Local Government Loans Board but without taking a poll of the ratepayers. 3. To enable the Board to make unauthorised expenditure up to twenty-five pounds (£25) per annum. ' ■ i. To provide for two members of the Board remaining in office at every election. 5.
