CLUB NOTES.

Tho Suburbs M.U.C., which was the original Wellington Kast M.R.C., and which went out of active shooting some seasons ago, has once again been re-formed wltli ii, satisfactory actlvo membership. The president la Mr. J. Smart (president of the Suburbs Defenco Rifle Club), [and the club captain is Mr. W. }. Haase (president of the University BID'S.Club), tho secretary and treasurer; Sir. B. Patttson, and tho handlcapper Mr. H. T. Peat, nndaho selectors Mr. Mottram and Mrs. H. T. Peat. Two teams are taking part In tho association's competitions, an A grade team and a B grade team. In tho monthly competition for Juno some Rood shooting was done and after a close finish W. G. Fclllngham finished first with 276, followed by Jamleson 270, Smart 2T5, Pattlson 275, Bitters ■ 274, Haaso 274, Mottram 274 Goodall 271. For tho A grade championship Bitters and Haase lead with 207 points. (Incldentaly Haase won tho association's championship in 1919, and has dono no miniature shooting for six years). Smart and Harris are next with 204. In tho B grade championship Kldd leads with 199, and tho next in order aro Peat 194, Pattlson 192, Mrs. Peat 189, Jamleson 182, Miss Barlow 179, and Miss Walker 178. Although the club has not yet mado an impressive showing in its grade competitions it, is, improving, and will perhaps spring a surprise before the season closes. The club shoots on Wednesday evenings on tho V.M.C.A. range.'
