BERHAMPORE AFFAIRS

The monthly meeting of, the Berhan*. pore Progressive Association was hell on Monday evening, Mr. R. T. Baileyi president, being in the chair. Ther« was a full attendance of the members. During the evening several matters of vital importance to the Berhampbrq community were discussed. '

It was resolved to write to the City} Council with regard ,to the repair of the streets in the district. Some of them are in a deplorable state and require immediate attention. The association attaches so much importance to thi* matter that a personal appeal is being made in this direction. - ■ ■
