RIFLE SHOOTING

HAUTERE CLUB

A good muster of members of the Hautere liifle Club competed on Saturday at ranges 300 and 500 yards, the occasion being the annual ladies' day. Four riflemen made the best score of 85 off the gun, and also headed the list with handicaps included. Prizes were won by Mrs Strom (first) Mrs. Pullman (second),'and Miss Eileen Taylor (third), nominated by nrst, second, and third riflemen respectively. At the conclusion of the shoot the ladies provided afternoon tea, for which they were accorded three hearty cheers Results:—
