NEED FOR AMENDMENT
The necessity for amendments to the Licensing Act was : mentioned by Mr. \V. G. Biddell, S.M., presiding, at a meetings of . the Wellington Lic^ ensing Committo to-day. ; "Theff arguments placed before the- conin. mittee this : morning in the matt-* ter of wholesale licenses ;go'-j.tjSj show the necessity for 'amending, ;th"qi Act," ho remarked, during a verbal tussle between opposing, counsel as to.; the interpretatibn of certain sections. "The Act should be clarified in order to make it simpler for Licensing Com 1 mittees to interpret."
