NEW YORE, 19th June. Mr. Guy, a member of the Australian Industrial Mission, interviewed by a Cleveland paper, stated that compulsory arbitration had not proved a cure fpr strikes in Australia). There were numerous strikes.thero recently, despite the Court.' The Government, he said, intends to review the industrial legislation and the missioa's report may assist them. Company" Union* in America had apparently decreased strikes, and employees were more contented. : ,
Before Mr. Grayndler left it was decided to continue preparing the report individually, the whole of the mission meeting at Melbourne on 15tfc August to complete it.
