DE LUXE THEATRE.

Reginald Denny has never achieved greater success than in his latest comedy, ' Ihe Cheerful Fraud," which is being screened at the De Luxe Theatre. He plays the role of Sir Michael Fairlie, an English nobleman who falls in love wijh pretty Ann Kent during a terrific rainstorm. In order to get out of the tangle he takes a position as secretary to a newly-rich social climber and changes his name. Amongst the riot of merriment may 1 be mentioned the nobleman's flight over the housetops, the theft of valuable jewels, a mad flight in a runaway car with the .Englishman and the crook battling for the wheel. Emily Fitzroy acts opposite ,to Denny. The supporting pictures are all well received. The musical portion of the programme is excellent. Mr. Emanuel Aarons is heard on the Wurlitzer organ m a pot pourri of opera and "In a Persian Garden."
