LONDON PRODUCE PRICES.

The Department of Agriculture is adr vised by the High Commissioner, London, 18th June, as follows:—

"Casein.—Dutch rennet'and Argentine lactic, £68. ■ ■ : .

"Tallow.—Spot market quiet at lower prices. ■; Present quotation*'are: llutton, fine 38b per cwt, fair to good 34s to 355, dark to dull 32* to 335; beef, aweet and/or mixed 35s 6d to 38s, fair to good 33s 6d to 35s Od, dark to dull 31* 6d to 32s 6d; mixed, fair to good 33* to 355, dark to dull 31s 6d to 325; gut, etc., 27s to 31s 3d. "Fruit.—Apples per Tainui arrived satisfactorily, and demand is good for all sorts, particularly red, of which none are.available until Port Caroline dscharges next week. Prices are as follows: Statesman 16s to 20s per case, Newton Pippin 18a to 20s, Pioneer 18s, Stunner. 14s'to 17s. "Hemp.—Manila market quiet. A grad* June-August shipments quoted £43 sellers. Sisar market dull and easier owing to absence of demand. Sales reported of Tanganyika June-July shipments, No' I £37 10s and No. 2 £36 15s . c.ii. New Zealand market quiet and price* nominally unchanged. Stocks :in London at 31st May were 55 tons, against.6s tons for same time last year. , Vl. •■

"Wool.—Bradford market quiet. Mora demand from Germany for low and medium crossbred yarn/but Home demand still unsatisfactory. Prices for tops are a* follow: 64's (merino), warp, 4s per ]b: -average, 3s lid; 56vs (super halfbred), 2s 10d; 50's .(halfbred), 2s 2«d; 40's prepared, Is 7y 4 d." .
