LETTERS.
. Dearest Fairiel,—This afternoon I went to >the beach and I saw some 'dogs. Last iight I had an awful dream about some dogs, and one fell over, and I picked him up, and put him on the step, and gave him a drink of milk, and mended ,iiis leg (he hurt his leg) with a spado and Borne nailsy and then he got up and chased me. Good-bye. ■ CLARICE. Clarice Browne,.Lyall Bay. Dear Fariel, —Every night I put out a saucer of water, and in the morning sometimes, instead of water, I find some ice. 'I pat some of it too, but it does seem;'rather tasteless,- doesn't it? Of course, I don't expect it to have a taste ." Jonet? Wilkie, Wellington. through 1; • .;■■ ; jonet. .
