PRESBYTERIAN MISSIONARY CAMPAIGN.

The last general assembly of the Presbyterian Church instructed the Foreign Missions Committee to get into touch' with tlie Home missions and Maori missions committees and arrange a campaign o£ missionary "education and inspiration throughout the whole church. The. first meetings wore held in the presbytery o£ Southland, and the campaigners have reached Christchurch, and are completing their mission there. On Sunday the campaign in the Wellington presbytery district will commence, when deputies of all missions will occupy the pulpits. In St. John's Church on Tuesday there will be an all-day conference. Missionaries fresh from the faraway fields will speak "with intimate knowledge of China and' India., their peoples, and the work among them. J lie Home Mission and Maori Mission will be represented by leading workers. .The aim •oC the campaign is twofold—to educnto and to inspire. Throughout the Week local meetings' and lectures will be held. Some of the campaigners visit Levin for a day, and others take part in an afrday conference among the churches of the Hutt .Valley. . ,
