HOW NEWS TRAVELS
An example of the celerity with which news travels nowadays was shown at Auckland during last weekend. The year's disqualification of Mr. Mervyn Wells by the Auckland Eacing Club was one of the news items broadcasted by Station IYA on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning before breakfast, Mr. "Wells had received a radiogram from a friend in Java expressing his' sympathy.
