BAILIFF AND AEROPLANE

BERLIN, 14th June. There was a mild sensation when a bailiff appeared at the Templekof Aerodrome and announced that he had been instructed fo attach for auction the aeroplane, unless Levine Chamberhn's partner, paid £2000 to Dr. Puppe, for medical attention to Levine on a" visit, to Germany in 1924. The machine was saved from seizure only after the combined intervention of the American. Embassy, th« Gcrmaji Foreign Office, and the Prussian Ministry of Justice. The latter reprimanded the Templehof; District Judge, who issued the writ. The settlement was based on a cash payment "and mutual apologies. >■ ■ " ■
