NEW. YORK,. 13 th June.
Lindbergh flew "solo" from Washington on Monday morning and landed at Mitchelfield, whs*e he had hopped off for Paris. He transferred to a seaplane and was taken down - harbour, where he boarded, a civic tug, and was brought to the city, where ho received a welcome unparalleled in the history of the city. He then was taken by motorcar through the financial districts, where the streets were jammed with shouting thousands. He received an official reception at tho City Hall.
