PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

AVhen "The Rat," the Temarkable British production to be screened at the Paramount next Friday, was running on Broadway as a successful ghow, it was freely predicted that only a short time would pass before it would appear as a moving picture. The prediction has come true, and "The Rat" is now on the screen, and even as the show was a sensational success, the film version promises to go it one better. The leading parts are played by Mac Harsh,- Ivor Novello, and Isabel Jeans. It has been admirably produced by Graham Cutts. Apart from the public interest in this drama and the popularity of Ivor Novello, it is a notable picture, because it introduces v new form of film technique.
