G. P. ABLER AND CO., Motor Body Builders, Palmerston North.

It is.aik'O.ld saying that success breeds success,' and if ever an illustration is wanted of this old proverb just see the busy hive of industry at G. P. Adler and Co. 3s new premises in Lombard street, which, by the way, are sSon going to be too small for the trade done therein. Mr. Adler and his staff are experts at tho motor body building business, and one or two excellent examples of that firm's excellent work are to be seen, at his workshops and on the Show Grounds to-day. Ono vehicle the writer wants to direct special attention to is a oOcwt Dennis chassis, on which one of the finest bodies has boen constructed that has .yet been seen in, tho Manawatu. This has been specially designed for loading of cream and milk cans for one of the principal dairying concerns in tho district. Tho body is built with duo regard to easy loading. It is six inches lower than the ordinary vehicle, and has all the latest appointments for the purpose for which it was built. The driver's cab is a modol of construction. Pitted with glass panels at both sides, and giving a good view'to-the rear, the railed sides of the body arc just of the right, height to avoid the jolting over rough roads from displacing cans either empty or full. "Provision has also been made for an awning to cover tho cans in the hot summer weather. Mr. Mitchell, the gentleman for whom this vehiclo has boen built, expresses tho utmost' satisfaction, with the capable manner in which the work lias been carried out. ..Another feature of the lorry is the butter carrier, constructed on tho dust-proof principal, and placed under the body floor at the rear of the vehicle. Taken all round, the design and workmanship gives ocular demonstration of what- a tradesman who knows his .business can do. This lorry is the -centre of considerable attraction at the Show. It has boen painted and finished off in an attractive style and in thorough keeping with the true principals of tho Dennis firm: that supplied the chassis: It is worthy of nientipn, while on this subject, that there wore no fewer than five Dennis chassis, comprising two three-way tips; specially construe.ted for. a Danncvirke contractor, one four-ton chassis, .and two of- the modern 30cwt type, also: several Ford trucks, a Chevrolet chassis, and several others awaiting body construction when a -.'' Post representative eajlod at Messrs. Adler and Co.'s-works a.few days ago. \yiien one views the Dennis lorry ; at the Slio\v from all -points of view one is forced to'the conclusion that Dennis' Bros, and G. P. Atllor and Co. 's high-class workmanship makes a formidable combination, and one that cannot bo outweighed by any stretch of imagination. Each firm h»s done its particular work commensurate with' the highly technical knowWdgo possessed by the different branches of trade. Eactory! directors, creamery managors, and municipal authorities—yon are specially invited to inspect this modern transport vehicle as exhibited at the. Show, and your vordict will be, ''This is the goods." Eovcrting to Mr. Adler's factory, it may be or interest to. mention that tho firm have recently installed one of the lateßt Duco finishing plants, and in both tho trimming and painting dopartments they can give the very best service. Tho Duco painting plant is on tho portablo system, and whether it be rejuvenating old work or tho porfect finish to new, you can get- it lierc. Where clients prefor tho old-timo hand brnsh work the choice is theirs. Don't forgot that for building bodies to any make of chassis, car body building, trimming, painting, ana repairing, G. P.
