TARANAKI OILFIELDS.
The report of the Taranaki Oilfields,Limited, for the week ended- Uth June, Bays;—Waiapii No. 2 well: Drilled to 1680 feet in grey shale; 10-inch diameter cuing to 1648 feet. The conglomerate reported last week proved to .be only, harder material of no significance. Taranaki No. 3. well: Caved ground is somewhat more extensive thnn anticipated; filling same in progress.
