HONOLULU CONFERENCE

BRITISH DELEGATION

(A.P.A. and "Sun.") (Received 14th June, 11 a.m.) . LONDON, 13 th. June. Britain will'be unofficially represent* ed at the Honolulu Conference on Pacific Relations from the 15th to 29th July. ,The delegates include Sir Frederick Whyte, Professor Webstery and Mr. Lionel Curtis.

Sir Frederick Whyte is a distinguish, ed journalist, one of the: founders of "The New Europe" and joint editor. He was special correspondent of thd "Daily News" at the Peace Conference, at Paris; and from 1910 to 1918 was Liberal M.P. for Perth City. Ho was president of the Legislative Assembly of India, 1920-25. He is 41 years of age. .

Professor Charles Kingsley Webster holds the Chair of International Politics at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He'was secretary of the military section of the British Delegation at the Peace Conference, and during the war 1 was on the General Staff of. th» War Office. He is 41 years of age. ' Mr. Lionel Curtis was educated at the Haileybury and New College,' Oxford, served in the South African War, was Town Clerk of Johannesburg, member of the Transvaal Legislative Council, British lecturer ou colonial history, at Oxford, and is hon.. secretary to tin Britisli Institute of International Affairs. He is the author of several important works on politics, notably "Th« Problem of the Commonwealth,'? '"Th» Commonwealth of Nations," "Dy- , archy," and "The Prevention of War." He is 55 years of age.
