UNOFFICIAL CAPPING
AUCKLAND CEREMONY
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening-Post.") . AUCKLAND, This Day. An unofficial capping ceremony, unique in ths history of Auckland University College, will be held at the Town Hall this evening. The function has been organised by past and present students, who have been keenly disappointed at tho decision of the College Council to hold no official graduation ceremony this year. The serious congratulation of the graduates will be followed by the conferring of degrees, honours, and prizes on well-known personages. The meeting will be'entirely under Btudent control, but in spite of the recent comments on the behaviour of tho students in publio the controlling committees anticipate a perfectly orderly meeting.
