EASTBOURNE- CLUB
Tho twentieth annual meeting of tho Eastbourne Bowling Club was attended by a la'rgc number of members. Mr. W. Perry presided.
It was reported that tho past season had been a very, successful-ono for tho club from both a playing and a financial point of view. Tlio membership has continued satisfactory, and thero wns overy prospect of it being considerably augmented for tho coming season.
The president, in reviewing tho report and balanco-slioct, suid he considered tho finances of tho club woro in a very sound condition.
The .following officers woro elected:— President, Mr. W. Perry; vico-prcsi-dent, Mr. C. H. Andrews; secretary, Mr W. G. Duff; treasurer, Mr. A. G. Munro; delcgato to centre, Mr J F* Wood; auditor,' Mr. G. Jackson; management committee, Messrs. B. J Loo V. Scott, G. Johns, P. P. Wood, H. b' Card.
Iho club competitions played during tlio season resulted as follow:—Club singles, H. L. Woolly; club pairs, W Nimnio and A. G. Munro (s); Wilford J. t. Menzies and A. G. Munro (s) A vote of sympathy was passed to Mr. i". Levi (a past president and esteemed member) in his severe illness, and hope expressed for his speedy recovery
