PIANIST'S- GENEROUS OFFER

Paderewski, the distinguished, pianist,, lias been instrumental in raising many tliousands of pounds- for the -benefit of ex-soldiers who ' were incapacitated in the Great War. The very practical means P:iderewski has adapted of showing his earnest solicitude for tho welfare of maimed warriors has. earned-him high honours iv various countries, .not least' amongthem being -the honour conferred by ,tiic King about two years ago following the- raising of something like £8000 for the British Legion.
