RACE AT PETONE
The second cycle road rao«of the season was held by the Pork Nicholson Cycling Club at Petone on Saturday afternoon; The roads were on the heavy side, but nevertheless some good times were registered. The placed men came from the limit mark.
The result was as follows:—G.' Irvine (llmin), SSmin 58sec, 1; G. Cousins (11 mm), 59min Bsec, 2; -W. Sands'(llmin). 59min 20sec, 3. Fastest titocs were: J Morns (ser), 54inin fill-ssoc; L. Kenny (scr), 54min 51 2-ssee; JI. Gane (scrl 54min 52sec. J
There was an exciting finish between Morris and Kenny, the former gettiue home first by a length. Three, lengths separated Kenny arid Gane. --■ •■-■•
