HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
Said to be one of the biggest, strongest, and most spectacular shows ever presented by the Fuller organisation, the Robert Roberts Bon Bon Revue Company commences its Wellington season this evening, when "Screams and Scenes," which proved such a big success in Australia, will be staged. There are no fewer than twentytwo principals and a ballet of eight in the company, which will be further strengthened by the retention of the Eleven Rascals, who execute some amazing acrobatics and who will also, be seen in some ensembles arranged by Mr. Roberts. Practically every artist in the show is a star. Mr. Innes, who was for some years in grand opera in America, has a very fine voice, and is in addition a remarkably good actor. Maurice Jaffey is another grand opera star who fills his part with distinction. June Mills, a jolly comedienne, revels ra the comedy scenes, of which there are many, and Arline Patterson, the principal dancer, is responsible for the ballets which are such a feature of the company's 7>roduction. The dressing and settings are said to be on a particularly lavish seal. Rare scenes of enthusiasam were witnessed at the close of Saturday's performance by the George Wallace Revue Company. It was the final night of the season, and Mr. Wallace and his colleagues were presented with a bewildering array of parting gifts, while streamers Irom company to crowded audience gave almost a carnival appearance to the stage. Mr. Wallace made a happy little speech of farewell, and the response from the audience left no doubt as to the popularity of the genial little comedian. A gift from the company to the wardrobe mistress was made on the stage.
