Gliib games held pride of place on. Saturday, and spectators were treated to some good exhibitions of the Soccer code. Three Chatham Cup games' were played, and wins were recorded by Marist, Hospital, and V.M.C.A. Marist had the hardest game to play, and although they succeeded in defeating Diamonds by 4 goals to 2 there was little between the teams so tar as the general run of the play went. Hospital scored an easy win at the expense of Welgasco, and V.M.C.A. ran away from Swifts to the tune of eight goals to nil. In the first round of the Unallenge Cup elimination matches Thistle aereated Brooklyn by seven goals to three, and Seatoun accounted for Institute by two goals to one. The winning goal was scored right on time.
