MAORI TOUR
Details in connection with the proposed tour of the New Zealand unions by a Maori Rugby representative team this season were discussed ,by the New Zealand Kiigby Union's Management Committee last evening. Mr£ Kingi Tahiwi, the Alaon Advisory. Board's representative, reported that twenty-two members of the team which visited France and England would be available for the tour. The Key. Mateno had not yet replied. R. Bell vice-captain of B tho last touring team, would be unable to tour, and G. Nepia of the. 1924 New Zealand team, was unable to accept an invitation. "Nepia is now farming, and IMieve he is a family man, Mr. Tahiwi remarked. It was possible that Jacob would be available. A decision was made that a tour of approximately fivo weeks' duration be commenced about the 16th July, the itinerary to be drawn up by a sub-committee couMsting of Messrs: S. S. Dean, W. F.
