CROQUET NOTES
Mrs. Gambrill, Manawatu champion player, is visiting Wellington, and is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Beggs, Highland Park.
Mrs. Fairbairn (Waiinarie Club) is spending the winter with relatives in Melbourne.
Mrs. G. B. Bartlett (Hamilton) (North Island lady champion in 1925) left for Sydney last week, on a two months' holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Stranger (Melbourne), who have been touring the North Island, subsequent to visiting Honolulu, have left for home. During their sojourn in New Zealand, they were welcome guests at the lawns in Auckland, New Plymouth, and Wanganui, where their play was much admired, both being minus a half bisque. Mrs. Bush (formerly hon. secretary at Island Bay Club), who has been living at Wanganui recently, has again taken up residence in Wellington. . Mrs/ Alexander (Dunedin) is staying with relatives in Wellington, during Mr. Alexander's absence on a world tour. , .. '
