The Royal Guards Band paraded on the quarter-deck, when the Duke and Duchess of York and staff descended in order to observe the cere, mony. The ship was gaily dressed from tht masthead with flags. A number of inhabitants of Mauritius rowed out and watch the Benown's departure at midnight. The course now set is northward. Thi weather is delightful.
