ANDREWS GOING TO SOURCE

General Andrews, who retires on Ist August as heiad of the Prohibition enforcement organisation, will be sent to Europe immediately afterwards as Government agent in an effort to effect a treaty with Great Britain for the prevention of narcotic smuggling to the United Status.
It is understood that General Andrews, who is responsible for the liquor smuggling agreement with Britain, Will seek the support of other European nations if a satisfactory agreement with Britain is readied. Liquor smuggling from Canada has been further, restricted by the establishment of a recording system of all freight. cars carrying liquor. ;. A conference is now in progress, at which General Andrews is presiding.
