REGENT THEATRE.

The perfection of underworld detail in Harold Lloyd's second Paramount release, "For Heaven's Sake," is one of the outstanding features of this new comedy, which is the current feature at the Regent Theatre. The slum set in the picture is a faithful reproduction of a section of a big city tenement district. "For Heaven's Sake" presents Lloyd in an entirely new and original characterisation— that of a millionaire clubman whose attempt to uplift the inhabitants of the underworld involves him in a series of exciting and laugh-provoking adventures. Job.vna Ralson heads the competeut supporting cast, and the production was directed by Sam Taylor. The. supports include two gazettes and a comedy, while the popular Regent Ballet provides a novelty dance number. The Eton College. Boy delights with fresh violin solos, and excellent incidental music is provided by the orchestra.

"London" will be presented at the Regent Theatre next Friday. Thomas Burkes romance of Limehouse and Mayfair, produced by British National Pictures, and released by Paramount with Dorothy Gish as its star. For this production, the interior of the Kit-Kat Club is shown as the setting of a dramatic moment in which Miss Gish, John Manners, Adelqui Millar, and Annette Benson are the principals. There will be seen for the first time in a film Zozo, the presiding genius of the club, London's best known head waiter, and also Paul Whiteman and his famous band make their first film appearance.
