Five lady: 'candid ate* were nominated. Bro. -W. Haase, P.G., conveyed greetings from Whanganui Re« bekah. Pyramid, and ■ Hylton -Lodges^ Wanganui. Bro. W. Wheeler, P.JS., dele* gate on hall committee, reported .that the new hall would be ready for next meeting. A pleasant social dance eon. eluded the evening. Bro. F. E. Ovenden, N.G., presided over; the fortnightly meeting of Muritai Lodged Jxo. 113, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., Eastbourne, there being a good attendance. Bros. Hr'M'Kerrow -P.G., and.C. Orr, P.G., represented Bellevue Lodge. One candidate was nominated, reports were received from, social and syllabus committees, ancl it was decided to officially .visit Southern Cross Lodge. Bro. J. C. E. Turner, P.G., E. I), lurner, V.G., and W. A. Stewart -were ' appointed ■ to represent the lodge at ,th« installation of Feilding Encampment. A card tournament concluded the evening. There was a good attendance at the forfc. nightly meeting of Heretaunga Lodge, No. 115. 1.0.0. F., N.Z., Petone, Bro/H. h. Rule, N.G., presiding. Visitors included Bro. W. Binns. of Washington Lodge, Cnristchurch. Delegates were appointed to the Petone F.S. Ball Committee and date fixed for "500" shield contest irith JMaraemu Lodge was, accepted. A recommendation was referred to District Lodza for the creation of a district membership jewel. Humorous stories, cards, arid cup« per concluded the evening. The fortnightly meeting of the Onsloir Lodge, No. J2B, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., Khandllah,! Bro. 1. AY. Burnell, N.G.. presiding, had a good attendance. An official visit wag rc< ceivcd from the D.D.G.M.
