CO-OPERATION URGED

MR. AMERY IN PARIS

KTJGBY, 3rd June.

Mr. L. C. !M. Amery, Colonial Secretary, Mr. Ormesby-Gore, Under-Secre-tary, and many of the delegates to the just : concluded Colonial Conference, who are on their way back to their posts, were the guests of the French Uaion of Colonies at a banquet in Paris last night, at which MM. Poincare and Francois Marshal spoke of the co-operation of British and French Colonial administrations in adjacent territories. Mr. Amery warmly reciprocated and spoke of the advantage's of such contact, especially on technical matters, between French and British officials with similar problems to face.
