STOWED AWAY

THREE MORE MEN FOUND

Three stowaways who said that they were starving, and that they could not obtain work, were discovered above the boilers of the Mataroa a few minutes after she had left the wharf this morning, Homeward bound. This makes a total of seven stowaways this week, four having been found on the Earanga before she left for Home on Tuesday. One of the stowaways was a Scotsman, and the others were New Zealanders from ,'l'aranaki. They were landed by a Harbour Board launch.
