•<; • WANGANUI, 4th June.. The annual match _ between Wanganui and Taranaki was played here to-day before the largest attendance ever seen at a football match in Wanganui. Taranaki won by 20 points to 16. After a spell of .even play, Pretty; after a brilliant solo effort, registered the first try for the ■visitors. Brown failed 113 th the kick. Taranaki 3, Wanganui 0.
