She is "coarse, but refined," but in the end she proves to be the most genuine woman in the play. The --ast of characters is-an. exceptionally strong one, and all the members of this talented company appear in congenial roles. "Brown Sugar" created quite a sensation when produced in the large cities of the world. 1 here are many amusing and some dramatic scenes in the remarkably well-writ-ten play. The box plans for "Brown Sugar . are to-day open at The Bristol until 12 o'clock, and after that hour at the Grand Confectionery, where day sales are also made.
