ADVENT OF WINTER

POINTS FOR NOTING

LAYING UP OP THE CAR

I'or motorists who arc desirous of laying up their cars for the winter, the following points may be useful:— Put blocka under the axles, to raise the tires from- the ground or floor. Empty the radiator. There is no particular danger of rust. Provided the petrol tank and system are free from leakage there is no need to empty the tank. Bun the engine for half-an-hour or so once, every week at a speed just sufficient to give the battery a charge. If this is not to be done the battery should be removed and entrusted to a reliable firm for attention.
