THEATRE SAFE ROBBED

...... DANNEVIRKE, 2nd June. The manager, of the Arcadia Theatre, Mr. W. T.'Eyre, lost the keys of his office on Monday night. These were located.on Wednesday evening in the operating box of. the theatre. On the office safe being opened it was found that Monday night's takings and petty cash, totalling about £20, had been taken from the safe.
The supposition is that the keys were found- and used to open the office and safe some time during yesterday afternoon, and were afterwards thrown into the apartment where they were found.
